I started using this oil because my eyes are incredibly sensitive and I get a bit of eczema from time to time under my eye. This oil doesn’t upset my eyes, as many do, and I’m able to use it without fear of a flare up. I’ve started wearing a bit more very carefully chosen make up, so I’m really pleased. I like using the oil as a moisturiser too although my skin does need a bit of a boost during the day.

It’s wonderfully moisturising, smells great, isn’t anywhere close to harsh with its exfoliation. Love this!

This product is totally amazing I have only used it for a couple of days and the difference in my skin is unbelievable . Suffered with eczema on my eyelids under eyes and face for years . Steroids and creams have never worked. I can’t recommend this enough honestly it’s a miracle in a bottle . I’ve now ordered the serum scrub, thanks so so much apothecary and me .

I’ve bought a few products from Apothecary and me and love them all. The illuminate face oil, the scrub and bath oils have all helped keep my eczema at bay. Every January for as far as I can remember I get a flare up I think because of the cold weather. These beautiful products have kept my skin really soft and eczema free so I’m over the moon.

I have very unpredictable skin which likes to break out in eczema now and then or if I use a product it doesn’t like. I ordered this on a whim when having one of these breakouts around my eyes.
I never leave reviews and have tried everything - this stuff works.
It cleared my flare up within a few days and I’ve had no breakouts ( I was worried as it’s an oil and even those that don’t block pores often break me out) and I now use twice as day as a moisturiser and it works a treat.
I didn’t find it very good as a cleanser as it sinks into the skin too well but I’m more than happy with it as a moisturiser and layer it with my other products. Will continue to buy

I rarely write reviews but the illuminating face oil has been a bit of a game changer for me. I found the product via social media and was impressed with the feedback. I was struggling with a frustrating combination of menopausal skin as well as rosacea and eczema. Triple whammy!! The illuminating oil has totally settled the eczema around my eyes and has smoothed and softened my skin. I even think the rosacea is a little better. Would love a product that can really get to work even more on Roscea ( hint hint) I am also now going to treat myself to some of the body products too.

I was really nervous about using an oil based cleanser as I still even at 58 have oily sensitive skin. I have only used it as a make up remover so far. It hasn’t irritated my skin at all and has not caused any breakouts. It leaves my skin very soft and clean and it actually seems to be helping to balance my skin. It is so easy to use and it works.

I’m aged 57 and have had eczema most of my life. My skin on face and eyes have been sensitive for years, and I have eczema on my eye lids. The Drs prescribed petroleum based products and hydrocortisone 1% for my eyes a couple of months ago after a particularly bad flare up and it just got worse. I saw an advert for the Illuminate face oil and the story of mother helping her daughter’s sensitive skin and related to it. I’ve been using it 3 wks now and it’s really helped calm my face and doesn’t sting my eyelids. I use it as a moisturiser. My eyelids are still a little flaky at times but are improving a lot. I strongly recommend this soothing oil. I’ve also bought the facial exfoliator and that seems lovely as well.

Im not usually one for reviews but this is magic! I have been using this as a face oil and eye make up remover for a year or so (it works on waterproof mascara). I recently ran out of cleanser and started using this instead - no more eczema flare ups and my skin looks so clear.

I love it! I have eczema under my eyes and perioral dermatitis around my mouth and nose. I found my Clarins cleanser and toner, which I had used for years when my skin was much greasier, was now too harsh. I have started using the oil as a second cleanser (instead of a toner) and I then apply it as a moisturiser too. I’ve definitely noticed my skin doesn’t feel as dry or itchy and I would even go as far to say, it looks dewy again.

The oil is perfect for cleansing and removing make up. I add a few drops to my skin directly after cleansing to moisturise. I have still had some dry areas of skin since using the oil and have not noticed a difference to the appearance of my skin.

I bathe every night because of back pain. Baths make a huge difference for me and my mobility. But the reality of taking a bath everyday is SUPER dry itchy skin. My wife got me some of this stuff and I thought it was gonna be just your average bath scent, but it made a HUGE difference in my skin. As a guy, it takes a lot for me to actually buy a product a 2nd time AND use my own money for it (wife's money is always easier to spend lol)...But this stuff is worth it. Such great skin (way more comfortable, don't have to pile on globs of lotion after a bath EVER again!) and it makes me smell great. I really suffered when I ran out so I bought TWO bottles this time!
